Rock Music has been a favorite of mine ever since I started playing Piano at the age of six. I have fond memories of seeing the Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Led Zepplin on Television when I was a kid. When I was younger I wanted to play music in a band and eventually played in different bands over the years. Later on as I progressed through life living and learning many different job skills, I found myself at a sign shop that specialized in banners. Being in a band four to 3 nights and working 8 hours during the day, I found the advantages of working at a sign shop a valuable resource for our band.
One of them was developing a logo and putting it on a banner that would hang behind the drummer. We then would put spot lights on it from the bottom so it could be seen more easily from the front of the club we would be playing at. This way,when someone came through the door, they would see the name of the band. If they were staying for a few drinks, hopefully they would remember our band by seeing our logo and hearing us play.
Banners have come a long way since I started making them back in the late "80's and early "90's. Now days banners are printed on "Large Format Printers" and are used to cover Billboards. Good News is Contagious!!
Have you ever been in line somewhere and your standing next to someone talking about how they have this and that going wrong in there life?
Your natural reaction might be to either ignore the negative or join in on the conversation with your own complaints. I have caught myself doing the negative gibberish now and then-- it's normal. It's a good thing if you can catch it an be aware of it. A lot of people don't catch themselves or think about it and become obsessed with complaint after complaint. People who complain allot will suck the life out of you if you get too involved. Nobody wants to be around a complainer.
On the other hand-- being around people who don't complain and are always in good spirits and always have something good to say-- you want to be around this person because it's comfortable and not depressing, it lifts your spirits instead of draining your spirits. You want to do more for people like this because people like this are usually successful people, and it's good to be around successful people. Successful people usually 98% of the time have some kind of Good News going. Good news like "I need to have my Van Wrapped this week--how much of a deposit do you need?" Or "I like your price you gave me on those 100 banners, let's go with it! It makes you feel good!
If the evening news put as much energy into the "Good News" as they do with over-inflating and sensationalizing the "Bad News" things would most likely be better!

There is a great new way to sell homes now by making them more noticeable to the public when they drive by. It is a much larger sign than the sign that usually sits in the front yard.
